The recent evolution of the world energetic situation and the effect of the human activities on the climate has brought to the necessity to define anew the concept of the systems of transport, also in aeronautical field. The development of technologies and devices able to offer efficient solutions for the production and the conversion of electric energy has offered new perspectives of application on board of aircrafts both for the feeding of the services and for the propulsion of light aircrafts.
Among the circles of application the airport environment is subject to a strong pollution mainly caused by the issues "primary" coming from the propellers of the aircrafts, but also from the operations to the ground (the so-called handling); these last ones contribute in non negligible way to the polluting issues, chemists and acoustics.
For instance, the operations of the auxiliary unity of generation of energy of edge (denominated APU) whose employment is necessary to feed the demands of the firm aircraft to the ground, with motor out during the operations of embarkation and unloading: the feeding of these small turbomotoris, very noisy, it is to kerosene.
The project HySky proposes him to plan, prototipizzare and to experiment the use in flight of cells to combustible hydrogen appraising the characteristic prestazionalis and the technological ties of it.
