After the first presentation phase, in July 2009 in which it was framed within the role of the Project Company, has acquired an airplane Digisky P92 Echo Super, housed in special configuration dedicated to testing and qualification of flight experimental technologies. The project was born from the collaboration with the Department of Aeronautics and Space Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino and has been developed to offer companies or research institutions a platform to test flight clean linen, equipped with various devices to power.

The main objective of DigiSky in SMAT-F1 has a dual purpose, the classification of Enabling Technologies item of evidence, according to a grid TRL’s (Technology Readiness Levels) in terms of airworthiness of each, and performance of an assessment of the operating area of Cuneo-Levaldigi, both logistically and procedural.
